LGBTQ+ Affirming Counseling

You don’t have to feel disconnected from yourself and the life you want to live.

Are you struggling to figure out your identity, be seen, and live your life authentically? Does the desire to be yourself bring feelings of anxiety, low self-esteem, and isolation

You want to stop feeling empty and disconnected. You want to feel comfortable in your own skin and live with purpose

It takes work to love yourself and trying to assert your identity can feel overwhelming. Feelings of low self-esteem and shame may be unconscious as a result of existing in a world that unjustly marginalizes you.

Anxiety, low self-esteem and depression may show up for you as…

  • Maintaining toxic relationships for the sake of “connection”

  • Masking or shrinking yourself in social, familial, and/or professional spaces

  • Reliving trauma from your past or through day to day micro-aggressions

  • Feeling isolated and excluded due to homophobia, transphobia, or gender-role stereotyping

With therapy, you will…

Stop living in the shadows of expectations projected onto you, be able to set healthy boundaries and create meaningful relationships with yourself and others. Together we’ll explore your identity, your values, increase your self awareness and build confidence to create connection and transform your life.

Inclusive and affirmative therapy celebrates the diversity and uniqueness you have to offer as a person and part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Your unique story deserves to be explored, told and lived.
