Commitment to Care: Connect Suicide Postvention Training

    By The Corazón Team

    August 2026

At Corazón Counseling and Wellness, we are deeply committed to continuous learning to best support our community in times of critical need. We are proud to share that Brook Landeo attended a NAMI New Hampshire Connect Suicide Postvention Training offered by Columbia County Public Health on July 21st and 23rd in Portage.

The Connect Training equips service providers with essential skills and knowledge to respond effectively to a suicide or sudden death. This training is vital in helping to support affected individuals and communities while reducing the further risks of additional deaths by suicide.

This proactive approach plays a critical role in reducing suicide rates and promoting long-term wellness. We are honored to bring these crucial skills back to our practice to ensure we are providing the most comprehensive, supportive, and trauma-informed care possible.
