We are excited to begin offering EMDR sessions at our Poynette and Fall River offices, as well as via telehealth, within the next month!

    What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an integrative, evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help the brain reprocess traumatic, distressing, or painful memories. Unlike traditional talk therapies, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation—such as side-to-side eye movements, auditory tones, or gentle taps—to help activate your brain's natural healing process.

When we experience intense stress or trauma, memories can become "stuck" in the brain's nervous system. EMDR helps unlock those memories so they can be processed and stored healthily—allowing you to heal without needing to talk through every detail in depth.
